Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense?   

I included the participation of the Chemical Engineering Area in one case, to perform chemical analysis. Usually only the legal area is involved in these matters due to confidentiality. With the results obtained, we had the opportunity to demonstrate to the tax authority that the products are nutritional, and consequently it must be applied a lower tax rate to it. We reached a negotiation with the tax authority and significantly reduced potential tax contingency.

What is a cause, business-related or otherwise, that you care about, and why? 

The current legal and political context of our country, distrust is growing, and the rule of law is less and less respected. This affects us directly because of our profession, and collectively as a society in all sectors.
