What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

During the last year, our company has entered new markets which represent a great challenge due to the level of technical specialisation they demand. As corporate lawyers, it is our job to expand our knowledge to meet these needs. The data center market has been one of our greatest challenges since we deal with large companies full of professionals specialised in different areas so closing a deal under the best conditions for all parties becomes challenging.

In addition, managing large-scale projects such as one of the largest concert forums in the world, with the challenge of coordinating different companies, disciplines, and people, has required us to have a great capacity for adaptation.

Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense?  

We have internally designed a system for contract administration and integrated external digital services for supplier validation.

What is a cause, business related or otherwise, that you care about, and why? 

The construction industry is what I am most passionate about. Being a corporate lawyer for companies dedicated to this market demands so much of me and forces me to constantly improve. The variety of issues is such that you simply must keep learning and developing skills.
