Can you provide an overview of your recent work and philosophy towards your role?
As part of the legal team for this company and specifically involved in one of its most significant projects—the construction of a production plant from scratch—we face complex challenges. This project requires detailed contractual negotiations, regulatory permits, and coordination with various stakeholders. The scale of the project presents significant hurdles, especially in aligning all legal decisions with the company’s long-term objectives.
Despite these challenges, collaboration and empathy within our team are crucial for overcoming obstacles and ensuring the project’s viability. Our collaborative approach allows us to effectively integrate our workflow, reducing response times and improving cooperation. This results in the team adapting quickly, without the need for extensive training, which facilitates the implementation of efficient and effective solutions.
Empathy-based leadership is a cause I deeply value, both professionally and personally. I believe that empathy is not just a soft skill, but a key to building strong and motivated teams, especially in high-pressure environments with constant challenges. Leaders who demonstrate empathy not only improve employee well-being but also foster greater commitment and achieve better results for the business. Thinking long-term and motivating the team to overcome immediate challenges is essential for ensuring the success of large-scale projects. Therefore, empathy and effective leadership are not just cornerstones, but the very foundation of the successful management of complex projects and the development of cohesive and productive teams.
