Spanish headquartered Banco Sabadell has a large presence in Mexico and across Latin America, particularly within the venture capital and digital banking industry. Through Banco Sabadell’s venture capital division, the Bank has strengthened its interest in GoTrendier which recently closed a US$3.5m investment round to boost growth in Mexico and Colombia. Additionally, the team has coordinated with the Bank on its investment of InnoCells, its digital and corporate venture capital hub, bringing it to Mexico. The Bank has initiated an investment round of US$6.5m in a Mexican online payment start up, UnDosTres, led in conjunction with IGNIA and Dalus Capital.
