Brad Busscher serves as the chief administrative officer, general counsel, and interim chief information security officer (CISO) of InspereX, a fintech company engaged in institutional sales and trading of agencies, municipal securities, certificates of deposit (CDs), corporate and mortgage-backed securities. Additionally, InspereX specialises in the wholesale distribution of new issue, retail-oriented financial instruments, including InterNotes®, CDs, and structured notes. InspereX also sponsors and licenses a SaaS fixed-income trading platform. Brad is a member of InspereX’s Executive and Management Committees and serves as the corporate secretary to the InspereX Holdings Executive Board of Directors.  
 
Brad is primarily focused on issues related to corporate finance, securities regulation, M&A, and employment law. Prior to joining InspereX, Brad served as the executive vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary of Mesirow Financial, a Chicago-based diversified financial services company. Additionally, he has held senior-level legal and compliance roles at various other financial services firms. Furthermore, Brad worked as a litigation associate in private practice at a Miami-based law firm and served as an enforcement branch chief with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.  
 
Brad obtained his B.A. from Cornell University, J.D. from the University of Miami, and MBA from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business. He serves on several industry committees, including the FINRA Fixed Income Committee, and is a frequent speaker on regulatory and compliance issues. Brad has written a chapter for a securities compliance treatise, Modern Compliance, published by Wolters Kluwer, entitled “Corporate Transactions: The Role of Compliance.”
