During the past year, what are your teams’ proudest accomplishments?

We have effectively led the integration process by designing a smooth collaboration between the third-largest telecommunications company in Brazil and GlobeNet, a multinational company. This initiative unfolded in the aftermath of an intricate merger and acquisition transaction that reached its conclusion in 2022. The focal points of this effort revolved around the identification of synergies and the strategic amplification of strengths, all within the dynamic landscape of a cross-border environment. The particulars of navigating this complex integration were met with meticulous planning and execution to ensure the successful alignment of resources and capabilities between the entities involved.

What strategic priorities are guiding you and your team in 2024?

In 2024, we aim for transformative change rooted in the strategic approach of diversifying revenue streams. This involves not only leveraging new resources and assets but also optimising the potential of existing ones. The key to this transformation lies in the dynamic process of reinventing the product portfolio. In an industry characterised by constant change and evolution, the pursuit of innovation and adaptability becomes imperative. By embracing this reality, I aim to navigate the complexities of the business landscape, ensuring sustained growth and relevance in the face of ongoing industry developments. This comprehensive approach reflects a commitment to agility, resilience, and a proactive response to the challenges and opportunities that define the contemporary business environment. 

Do you have a cause, business-related or otherwise, that you are passionate about?
I am deeply committed to championing women and other minorities, specifically Latinos, in the field of technology. In my limited spare time, I actively contribute to various organisations, including TechGC, the South Florida Women In-House Counsel Group, LACCA, Chicas TIC, and the Junior League of Boca Raton. Through these engagements, I leverage my background as a Latina in-house counsel in the Telecom Media and Technology (TMT) industry to collaborate with others and make a meaningful impact.
