During the past year, what are your teams’ proudest accomplishments?
Over the past year, our legal teams have accomplished three significant projects. Firstly, we forged a joint venture with media partners in Hong Kong, Australia, London, and Amsterdam. Secondly, we established a new back office in the River Plate region of South America. Finally, we completed the financial restructuring of the acquisition of an electrical contractor on the West Coast of Florida.
What strategic priorities are guiding you and your team in 2024?
The top strategic priority for our legal teams in 2024 is to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) usage into all our industries, especially digital content distribution. AI creates new opportunities for the application of our content, to the extent that business consultants have proclaimed: “Content is the petroleum of the 21st century,” all due to its use by AI. Other industries are also being revolutionised by AI, no matter how basic they may be.
Do you have a cause, business-related or otherwise, that you are passionate about?
The business-related cause about which I am passionate is overturning the ideology and practice of DEI and replacing it with merit-based assessments. The first priority for business must be professional excellence in whatever we do, irrespective of ethnicity, sex, or woke ideology.

Eduardo Vidal serves as the executive vice president and general counsel at Content Engine, an aggregator and syndicator of Latin American content. The company is a part of an online media group, which also includes iCrowd Newswire, a digital service specialising in press release distribution. In his role as general counsel, Eduardo operates as a solo practitioner, working with external legal counsel.
Furthermore, Eduardo holds positions on the Board of Directors for private-equity startups. These startups focus on consolidating small operators in fundamental industries such as electrical contracting, plumbing, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) contracting, property management, and data centres.
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Eduardo Vidal serves as the executive producer and general counsel for WSQF 94.5 FM radio in Key Biscayne. He is actively involved in the Concrete Conservatives program and contributes as a columnist for The Miami Independent, a digital newspaper.
