How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crises, and how does your legal strategy align with the broader business strategy to ensure the organisation’s resilience?
By nature, a lawyer’s superpower is their ability to problem solve incredibly complex issues which can be matters of first impression. While each solution may and oftentimes is unique, the playbook that is deployed is well honed and constantly fine-tuned. This is why CLOs tend to be the voice of reason and calm in times of instability and crisis. The CLO role continues to evolve from not only being an accomplished legal technician and administrator but to a strategic business partner in the C-Suite, that helps drive shareholder value.
In your opinion, what are the main trends affecting your work now? Regulatory issues continue to be top of mind for the broadcast industry.
What strategic priorities are guiding your legal team into 2025?
