Emile Saadi is an English law-qualified solicitor who started his career in private practice in London before moving to Dubai in 2011. Today he leads Apple’s legal team for the Middle East and Africa region where he advises at the cutting edge of the region’s legal and regulatory landscape. He is responsible for a broad remit of legal affairs for the multibillion-dollar tech company across an expansive region. Saadi joined Apple in 2014 as Apple’s first lawyer in the region and since then has been responsible for building and developing Apple’s legal capabilities. He has a reputation for enabling business and solving the most complex of problems. This has cemented his place as one of the region’s most experienced and influential lawyers in the technology and regulatory space. Prior to joining Apple he worked at specialist technology law firm Bird & Bird. Prior to that, Saadi was part of Yahoo!’s Middle East and North Africa legal team, and earlier in his career he worked in private practice in London.
