Personally, he also has many particular highlights to choose from. ‘Being an of-legal counsel in an Islamic bank and in charge of the international syndicated investments and financing was one major highlight’, he explains, ‘and during this period I studied methodologies of Islamic facilities and investments along with back office processes relating to the banking industry. Another highlight would be my current role, during which I have amassed a huge array of knowledge on all aspects relating to collective investment schemes and regulatory compliance’. Radwan is clearly an extremely enthusiastic in-house lawyer who is grateful for the opportunities that the profession has provided him: ‘Being an international legal counsel and lawyer for almost five years has given me the chance to interact with multiple complicated commercial activities, including aviation, investment, financing, logistics, networking and cabling. I have seized this opportunity to study the commercial activities from an operational perspective and its basics in order to be able to avoid theoretic opinions and provide legal services relevant to the actual practice’.
