A result-driven and strategic executive with in-depth expertise in launching and rolling-out multi-billion dollar businesses in the real estate development, hospitality, leisure, retail, TMT and education industries in the UAE – MENA region.
Nadim took on leading roles in negotiating and closing mega transactions, which encompassed structuring and completing significant trophy acquisitions, hospitality and leisure assets, real estate developments, retail, TMT and education projects in the MENA region and on an international scale. Nadim has gained more than two decades of work on groundbreaking projects in the UAE’s government and private sector; in his capacity as general counsel, board secretary and ExCo. Thanks to his high level of critical analysis coupled with a 360-degree strategic overview of complex transactions, he has been a crucial member. Nadim ensures that all critical matters are covered from inception to closing and post-closing integration requirements, thus securing the investment and maximising shareholders’ equity.
Nadim was ranked by The Legal 500 as one of the most influential general counsels in the Middle East in 2019. His recognition resulted from his major successes during his tenure at ADNH, including steering the negotiation and closing of the AED 2.2 bn acquisition of 5 EMAAR hotel assets in Downtown Burj Khalifa in a record three months’ time. The aforesaid strategic acquisition is considered one of the biggest M&A deals in the UAE hospitality sector.
Nadim has recently re-joined ADNH, intending to support its ambitious expansion plan to the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah that was recently announced, consisting of more than AED 1 bn luxury resort development project on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah that will comprise 1000 rooms in addition to its announced global expansion plan.
