The Dragon Oil legal team has taken a major role in the corporate restructure of the business on the back of its multi-billion dollar takeover by Emirates National Oil Company in 2015. Nominating sources praise general counsel Sandra Redding as having had a major impact in the smooth transition of this, explaining: ‘She oversaw not only the corporate reorganisation at Dragon Oil, but also the numerous operational challenges faced by the company on a day to day basis as a result of their operations in countries such as Iraq, Egypt, Algeria and Turkmenistan’.
