Have you had any experiences during your career as a lawyer that stand out as particularly unique or interesting?

Having started as an attorney in the corporate department of a reputable Dutch law firm, then moving to one of the largest Dutch banks before joining Dynamic Credit, I have had the opportunity to bring together my expertise and experience in the most challenging and rewarding way. The acquisition of a majority stake in Dynamic Credit by BNP Paribas Asset Management in 2022, and our integration into its Private Assets division, provided a highly valuable opportunity to apply my knowledge and experience to the fullest, both during the transaction and throughout the subsequent integration with BNP Paribas.

Additionally, I enjoy leading and contributing to the corporate finance transactions (from a legal perspective) that we are undertaking and have undertaken at Dynamic Credit in 2024 and 2025.

What do you think sets you apart from other in-house counsel?

I can only speak for myself, but my colleagues value my hands-on mentality, strong work ethic (delivered with a smile), and my availability, while also appreciating that I remain down to earth and approachable.
