Career biography:

In my role as general counsel/MT member at Avedon Capital Partners, I am responsible for overall legal and compliance of Avedon and managing Avedon’s investments, fundraisings, fiduciary tasks and corporate affairs, and regulatory and HR activities. I am actively involved in the acquisitions and exits as part of the deal team and support the deal teams and management at portfolio level in case of legal challenges. I am a trusted advisor to the partnership and part of the management team of Avedon and secretary (and trusted advisor) to the supervisory board ensuring compliance with corporate governance and investment guidelines. I am also part of the committee in which the decisions regarding investments are made.

I am also a member of the Supervisory Board of Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur. Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur (Youth Fund Sport & Culture) is a CBF-approved foundation that is committed to supporting children who, due to a lack of financial resources with their parents, cannot play sports at a sports club or follow cultural lessons.

My former roles include director legal and compliance/corporate secretary at Wehkamp Group (RFS Holland Holding) and M&A lawyer at Clifford Chance LLP.
