In one of the most notable transactions in the sector in the past year, in July 2018 it was announced that Kongsberg Gruppen has entered into agreement to acquire Rolls-Royce’s Commercial Marine business, which is valued at £500m and is one of the world’s leading technology businesses within maritime operations.
