One of the most important institutions in the Norwegian economy, Oslo Børs is an independent securities exchange and the only regulated market for securities trading in Norway. Oslo Børs facilitates all operations expected of an exchange, including the raising of capital for Norwegian and international companies through equity and bond listings, as well as efficient and secure trading in the listed products for its members. As an internationally renowned exchange, Oslo Børs’ remit is concerned with safeguarding and enhancing the performance some of the market sectors which Norway is a world leader in, including energy and shipping. Oslo Børs is served in this ambition by a legal team led by Øivind Amundsen in the role of executive vice president, who is responsible for the primary market and legal affairs section. Having taken up his position in 2010, Amundsen has experience working with public equity capital transactions and executive vice president corporate affairs in KLP. The international remit of the legal team and its financial legal expertise is constantly counted on, as companies from all over the world chose to list their shares in Oslo, with global distribution to investors through its exchange members.
