Banco Pichincha
Banco Pichincha was formerly known as Banco Financier del Peru, and at the end of August 2018 the Bank’s legal department assisted in the rebranding efforts of the organisation. The Bank changed its name to Banco Pichincha as part of an effort to align further with its Ecuadorian parent company Grupo Financiero.
The Banco Pichincha legal team has assisted in a number of large-scale activities in the cards and payments industry in Peru.
The team has also been instrumental in the Bank’s growth in Peru, contributing directly to its most highly publicised transactions such as the acquisition of NBK Bank.
