In 2017 the Peru Enel legal team worked on increasing the company’s stake in Enel Distribución Perú, acquiring a further 7.5% stake, a transaction worth S/262.3m, allowing Group Enel to hold 83.2% of Enel Distribución Perú.
In 2016 the legal team assisted in Enel Generación Perú selling its transmission assets to Conelsur, a company linked to the Chilean company of Canadian capital Transelec Rentas Holding for more than US$60m, allowing it to enter the Peruvian market.
