Engie Perú
In May 2018, the Engie-owned Intipampa project was “plugged in”. This is a 40 MW solar plant in Peru Moquegua, and the venture was awarded in a power auction held by the Peruvian government in 2016.
The legal team helped negotiate the aforementioned contract to supply 180 GW per year at a price of US$48.50 MWh. As well as reinforcing Engie’s track record of investment in Peru, this project is set to revolutionise the country’s relationship with solar power.
