The Grupo Gloria legal department assists the five lines of Grupo Gloria’s business in five different countries. It has acquired in-depth knowledge in each of its recently added diversified sectors of operation. These are cement, paper and cardboard, cane and sugar and logistics and transportation.
The department has contributed to the exponential growth of Grupo Gloria, through several areas of services with an average of two M&A transactions per year, bringing legal expertise to negotiations and financings of the company.
In 2018 it assisted in two major acquisitions in the cement sector of the business, one in Bolivia worth US$300m and another in Ecuador for US$280m.
