Over the last three years, the Grupo Wiese legal team has been integral to three of the most important M&A transactions the company has undertaken. One being the swap of Grupo Wiese’s 20% stakes in Peruvian AFP Integra pension fund manager and Fondos Sura wealth management.

The team also worked on the acquisition of a 5% stake of EFE Holding in order to complete the acquisition of Total Artefatos by Tiendas EFE, collectively with Linzor Capital and PQ Investments for US$150m. This transaction was one of the most notable in the Latin America private equity space in 2012.
In December 2018, the Grupo Wiese legal team assisted in the Grupo Wiese and Bancocolombia sale of part of SURA Asset Management, a subsidiary of Grupo Sura, to La Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), a Canadian state-owned institutional investor.
