Juan Chacón Santos leads the PBF Perú legal team as the corporate legal head, helping the company maintain its reputation as the third largest fuels importer in Peru. The team stays abreast of the legal challenges that come with a diverse group of customers and 1 million barrels of liquid fuels storage at the Port of Callao, the largest port on the Pacific Coast of South America.
In May 2018, the PBF legal team was involved in a pivotal deal which saw Valero acquire PBF Perú from Pegasus Capital Advisors and its minority shareholders.
In 2014, the legal team worked on advising in the transaction which saw BP Group completing an equity investment in PBF Perú.
