Internal legal support to Supermercados Peruanos, the second largest supermarket and hypermarket chain in Peru, is provided by a 14-member team made up of lawyers, assistants and interns who analyse and identify legal issues in all departments of the corporation, designing strategies to reduce legal contingencies.
The legal department led a team that participated in the implementation of more than 150 mass stores on behalf of the company.
The legal team also provided counsel on a US$150m credit agreement entered with Banco Credito del Peru.
