What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

Having joined REGA in September 2023, I have been internalising some legal services and procedures and organising all legal corporate matters. Apart from that, as REGA’s mission is to help the Portuguese industry decarbonise their productions processes, the team has been focused on the development of several projects relating to the production of renewable gases (green hydrogen and biomethane) currently in pipeline. We have also focused on all legal matters regarding the several steps of development of the projects (development, licensing and permitting, finance, construction and operation), and the drafting and negotiation of client agreements.

What strategic priorities are guiding you and your team in 2024?

The main priority of the team is to reach FID (Financial Investment Decisions) in several projects until the end of the year; all efforts are focused on that target.

Do you have a cause, business-related or otherwise, that you are passionate about?

I have always been passionate about gender equality matters, a cause which is pursued in REGA, in line with its people first culture. Nonetheless, our society is still very unequal, not only gender wise, and it is very important to raise awareness to the existing inequalities.
