What are the most significant cases and transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

Apart from day-to-day work and business as usual, we were involved in a complex sale of a client’s asset for more than 20 million euros, a securitisation and even the renegotiation of a servicing contract.

What would you say are the unique qualities required to be successful as an in-house lawyer in your industry?

Being methodical, detail-orientated and business-minded, without ever neglecting legal and compliance issues

How have you fostered a closer collaboration between the legal department and your business counterparts?

Of course, it’s essential that this is the case. As well as assisting all the departments in the company and helping them to realise their strategies, we also have to make sure that they listen to us and respect us.

Do you have a cause, business-related or otherwise, that you are passionate about?

I love the law and have always “worn the shirt” of every company I’ve worked for, and now is no exception. Of course, I always like challenging cases that make you think and come up with unique solutions. It’s almost magical when you come up with a solution in a challenging case.

Helping the company succeed is undoubtedly what I value most and what I am passionate about.
