With over 25 years of experience advising on several global matters, Christophe Asselineau has developed a particular focus on Africa – and is recognised as one of the leading specialists on African M&A and project transactions. Asselineau has advised clients in a substantial number of states, including Guinea, Cameroon, Senegal, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Algeria, Gabon, Cameroon, Togo and Ivory Coast. The projects he has advised on include power, mining, rail and ports infrastructure projects, also advising on petrochemical and electrical plant projects. Asselineau’s expertise has seen him work on some of the largest, most complex and politically sensitive investments on the continent, and he has used this expertise in appearing before Special Commissions of the United Nations, the OECD and the British Parliament.
