Assisting in the creation of the Norton Rose Fulbright French Middle East and North Africa practice, having been active in Africa for almost ten years Godefroy Le Mintier has extensive experience on financial legal matters across the Maghreb region and French speaking Africa. He has advised on corporate transactions, privatisations and tender offers to name clients such as Société Générale, BNP Paribas and Morocco’s Attijariwafa Bank. In addition to his considerable North Africa practice, Le Mintier has worked in West and Central Africa, notably advising distribution group Optorg in its merger with the Belgian group, SDA/Demimpex which involved approximately 15 jurisdictions in Africa.
