Co-head of the firm’s Africa group, John Kemkers of Eversheds Sutherland has advised on claims of both high value and high complexity that have spanned courts located in several nation states across the Middle East and Africa region. He has advised on claims with a total value in excess of US$2bn in local courts across the Middle East and Africa, as well as on a US$20m dispute relating to a real estate project in Libya, and has also advised on the enforcement of judgements and arbitral awards across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
