In 2023, Natalia joined Rocana Venture Holdings to oversee legal and compliance. Rocana is a mission-driven venture capital fund based in Miami, dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs who create innovative and disruptive consumer brands in the health and wellness sectors. The
firm focuses on three main verticals: food & beverage, personal care & beauty, and mind-body wellness. Rocana’s overarching mission, “Better Living” aims to enhance what you put inside, on, and do with your body. Since 2016, Natalia has been a non-managing Partner and General Counsel at Semillero Partners, a minority-led venture capital firm investing in early to growth-stage, purpose-driven,
sustainable food, beverage, and food tech companies. Across two investment funds, Semillero Partners invested in 24 unique companies based in North America, Latin America, Europe, and
Israel from Seed to Series E. At Semillero Partners, Natalia is responsible for the operations of the firm and its funds, legal matters and regulatory compliance. She helped Semillero Partners,
and its portfolio companies navigate evolving operational, regulatory, diligence, and legal demands. Natalia brings 9+ years’ experience leading in fund operations, corporate and M&A transactions, and regulatory compliance in the VC space. In addition, Natalia is actively involved in real estate as Founding Member and Partner at Roxco
LLC, a luxury property management company based in Puerto Rico with properties in San Juan, Culebra and Miami.
Prior to joining Semillero Partners in 2016, she worked with the Executive and the Legislative Branches of the Government of Puerto Rico on economic development matters. As an advisor to
the Secretary of Economic Development, she oversaw strategic economic development programs focused on agriculture, biotechnology, biopharma, distilled spirits, and diaspora engagement
projects. As a liaison to the federal government for the then-Governor of Puerto Rico, she participated in a wide array of federal, legislative, and policy matters. She has also worked at several law firms in Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico.
Natalia is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Interamerican University in Puerto Rico in 2015 and BA from Villanova University and holds a Project Management certification. She currently resides in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
