Crystal Antica is a dual qualified, senior lawyer at Woolworths Group supporting its treasury team, start-up ecosystem and digital eCommerce health and wellness destination healthylife, which brings together health products, wellness services, practitioner backed wellness insights and a health advisory board. She has also been a legal lead in Woolworths’ AU$12bn Endeavour Group demerger, AU$2bn off-market share buyback and the BIG W division (in Australia, Hong Kong and Bangladesh) across its digital platform, 160+ retail stores and business units end-to-end, including marketing, consumer, M&A, commercial, competition, IP, privacy and operational and regulatory compliance.
In a competitive and fast-moving consumer goods industry, Crystal’s agile approach and key legal involvement, in novel and complex projects, was also recognised by her team in award wins such as Best YouTube campaign at the B&T industry awards, and Woolworths CFO ultimate star team award, for her involvement in successfully delivering projects within short timeframes and a collaborative and efficient approach. In addition to her achievements at Woolworths, Crystal has over 14 years’ experience at top-tier law firms in Hong Kong and Australia (M&A and IPOs), in-house at one of Australia’s leading banks, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (M&A), and successfully co-founded and co-chaired Women in Law Hong Kong, which was developed with a board of leading investment banks and law firms to create one of APAC’s first cross-law firm diversity and mentoring programs against other workforce initiatives.
