Could you tell us a bit about your significant successes in your role?
At Meta, every day brings new challenges and new opportunities and that is more than ever the case in the tech industry which is at the forefront of antitrust and regulatory policy and legal developments. My role spans a range of competition and regulatory matters in Australia, across the APAC region and beyond, and it has been and continues to be an exciting journey helping the company navigate through these interesting times.
In your opinion, what are the qualities and skills needed to form a strong legal team?
There are many skills but three, in particular, come to mind: a strong and trusted partnerships across cross-functional teams, a deep understanding of the products, business and business drivers, and the ability to advise flexibly but also with the confidence to stand behind a legal assessment, particularly in dynamic and rapidly changing legal environments.
