Raluca Alexandru serves as the legal and compliance director at Coca-Cola HBC Romania, the largest beverage company in the market and the second largest in the local FMCG industry, with a local presence spanning over 30 years. Raluca has over 17 years of experience in the in-house legal industry, primarily in retail and FMCG business within Romania. Furthermore, she became a member of the Bucharest Legal Advisers College in 2006.

In 2019, Raluca achieved the ECPC-B Professional DPO Certification from Maastricht University and has also successfully completed several executive education programs, including those at INSEAD and the International Institute for Management Development (IMD).

In her current position, Raluca is responsible for ensuring that Coca-Cola HBC Romania’s operations are legally compliant and for identifying issues and concerns before they become risks. As a business partner, she believes that in-house lawyers need to provide not only a legal answer but also a legal perspective that is contextualised for the broader needs of the business.

Raluca prioritises putting people first and is dedicated to building a strong and engaged legal team that can adapt quickly, be progressive, embrace changes, and act as one, with empathy, and care for each other.
