Focus on… my career  

For more than five years, I have served as the head of the legal department at Vast Baita Plai, a subsidiary of Vast Resources, a prominent United Kingdom AIM listed mining company with operations spanning Romania, Tajikistan, and Zimbabwe. My journey as a legal professional is marked by exceptional achievements and a dedication to the field of law.  

My legal career took root after graduating from the esteemed Faculty of law at Babes Bolyai University Cluj – Napoca, a university ranked 1st in Romania, 15th in Eastern Europe, and among the top 38% of 690 universities globally, as per the British QS university ranking. This robust academic foundation laid the groundwork for a successful legal career. 

My areas of expertise include: 

Corporate transactions. With a keen understanding of corporate law, I excel in facilitating complex financial transactions and investment projects. My expertise in drafting and executing transaction documents, including loan deeds, security documents, and financial instruments, is marked by unwavering compliance with national and international regulations. 

insolvency and debt collection. In my early career, I provided invaluable legal counsel in the realms of insolvency and debt collection. My proficiency in guiding clients through insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings, as well as debt collection procedures, has been a cornerstone of my legal journey.  

Labour law. My expertise also extends to labour law, where I offered valuable insights and guidance to navigate the complexities of employment and workplace-related legal matters.  

Regulatory compliance. In my role as the head of the legal department, I am deeply committed to ensuring compliance with national and international regulations. This commitment extends to obtaining the necessary authorisations for the development of production activities of a specific nature, underlining my dedication to legal excellence and regulatory adherence. 

My role as the head of the legal department at Vast Baita Plai has actively involved me in numerous investment projects and multi-party financial transactions. I am adept at drafting and executing transaction documents, including loan deeds, security documents, and financial instruments. My work consistently adheres to both national and international legal regulations.  

In my current position, I am also responsible for overseeing the implementation of procedures aimed at optimising and ensuring the legality of investment programs. This includes obtaining the necessary authorisations for the development of production activities of a specific nature, showcasing her deep commitment to compliance and excellence in her field.  

Outside of the legal realm, I am as passionate about exploring the world as I am about the law. In my spare time, I share adventures with my family, immersing ourselves in different cultures, savoring diverse cuisines and appreciating the world of art. I am also an enthusiastic tennis player, finding joy in the competition and camaraderie of the court.
