How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crises, and how does your legal strategy align with the broader business strategy to ensure the organisation’s resilience?
Our legal strategy is continuously developed, reviewed, and adapted in close alignment with the broader business strategy. By making legal considerations an integral part of business activities, we establish a strong foundation for resilience. In recent years, the “by design” and “by default” principles have become the standard, particularly in the technology sector, following the adoption of regulations such as GDPR and DSA. This approach has become one of our key pillars in fostering a culture of compliance that goes beyond standard programs. Periods of instability or crisis test society, as well as businesses and legal strategies. Fortunately, legal frameworks are flexible enough to address emerging needs, mitigate risks, and seize opportunities.
In your opinion, what are the main trends that are salient in your country currently ?
The technology industry remains a global, ever-evolving landscape, and regulatory frameworks strive to keep pace with it. Across the European Union, the regulatory focus continues to center on the technology sector. While there is increasing emphasis on shifting from creating new legislation to focusing on enforcement, significant work remains to be done on both fronts—particularly in harmonising the Digital Single Market and creating a level playing field.
