Additionally, he served as the MEA company secretary for Dimension Data. Duane is an alumnus of Stellenbosch University, demonstrating a passion for innovation and excellence.

As the leader of the legal team at Vumatel, Duane has been instrumental in facilitating some of the most interesting and complex transactions in the South African fibre market. In the past year alone, he has successfully concluded numerous M&A transactions worth hundreds of millions of South African Rand.
