Jay Thiyagarajan is Head of Legal, Ethics and Company Secretary of Prudential Singapore. Jay also has additional oversight over the legal functions of Prudential Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Taiwan and Africa.

Thiyagarajan led the setup of Prudential Singapore’s first financial advisory company, Prudential Financial Advisers Singapore Pte Ltd (“PFA”), enabled the creation of multiple strategic regional initiatives with Prudential Singapore’s bancassurance partners to address the needs of High-Net worth and/or Ultra-High Net worth customers, negotiated multiple local and/or regional strategic partnership agreements and had taken lead conduct of local and/or regional agency related acquisition issues, high value litigation and/or conduct risk matters. In addition, Jay is a steadfast believer in legal innovation and has led the implementation of digital contracting tools and in-house built legal awareness and/or training tools.
