Philippe Rommel, based in Brussels, Belgium, serves as the Deputy general counsel and chief compliance officer, overseeing both the EMAP Commercial and Global Operations Legal Team and Ansell’s Global Ethics and Compliance program.

Shalinee Fernandez, stationed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, holds the position of senior counsel for global operations. In this role, she leads the legal support for the execution of Ansell’s Global Operations and Manufacturing strategic objectives. This includes overseeing Global Sourcing, Global Engineering, and Digital Manufacturing initiatives, as well as addressing employment and litigation matters. Additionally, she plays a crucial role in supporting Ansell’s ESG initiatives, contributing to the company’s commitment to protecting both people and the planet.

Aparna Sajeev, based in Mumbai, India, serves as a junior legal consultant at Ansell. Aparna plays a vital role in assisting Ansell’s operations and procurement teams, along with contributing to key projects in the APAC region. Aparna is responsible for drafting and negotiating a broad range of agreements, encompassing international contracts and strategic partnerships for countries such as India, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka. Furthermore, she is actively involved in the deployment of Ansell’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, which is set to revolutionise the company’s global contract management processes.

Megha Anand, stationed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, holds the position of senior manager for IP and patents at Ansell. In her role, she is responsible for managing Ansell’s global intellectual property (IP) portfolio, which includes patents and trade secrets. Megha collaborates closely with the R&D and general engineering teams to develop and execute IP strategies, ensuring the protection of patents and the safeguarding of trade secrets. Megha provides techno-functional expertise to identify inventions worthy of patents and to craft comprehensive protection strategies that align with the company’s business goals. Additionally, she provides support for IP-related commercial activities and agreements.

Grace Lu, based in Shanghai, China, serves as the senior counsel for commercial EMAP. Grace is responsible for overseeing various aspects, including commercial operations, M&A transactions, corporate governance, and compliance matters in the APAC region. Grace leads e-commerce business initiatives and the introduction of new product and service offerings. Additionally, Grace manages privacy and data compliance matters, and advises on complex corporate governance, corporate financing, distribution channels, HR issues, and compliance concerns. Her goal is to ensure that the company experiences robust and healthy business growth while maintaining strong legal and corporate compliance standards.
