Bio

Eva Argilés is a seasoned general counsel with over twenty-five years’ international experience in global leading companies, both publicly traded and privately held. She is responsible for managing and overseeing the legal function of the Applus group. As member of its Executive Committee and counsel to the Board of Directors, she contributes to the strategic goals of the group by managing corporate governance and advising on a diverse portfolio of corporate, M&A, regulatory, compliance and commercial matters across the globe, while bolstering ethical and sustainable growth.

Eva joined Applus before its IPO and has just been through its recent delisting, following an unprecedented competing takeover bid. Prior to joining Applus, she previously was Legal director at Puig and before that she practised at Cuatrecasas (Brussels and Barcelona offices). Eva is passionate about building and leading diverse, multi-jurisdictional teams and committed to serve the in-house profession. She is the former president of the Association of Corporate Counsel Europe and currently a member of its Board.
