During periods of instability or crisis, we prioritise adaptability and proactive risk management to ensure resilience. This approach enables rapid, informed decision-making while effectively mitigating risks. Providing clear, timely guidance to decision-makers is essential, as is aligning the legal strategy with the broader business objectives. Maintaining open and fluid communication with all departments is equally critical to safeguarding the organisation’s interests and ensuring a coordinated response to challenges.

What are the main cases or transactions that you have been involved in recently?   

This year, I have been involved in several significant cases and transactions across a variety of legal areas. These include high-profile court proceedings related to piracy, sports law, and antitrust issues. Additionally, I have worked on negotiating and finalising key sponsorship agreements and complex audiovisual contracts, which are critical to the organisation’s strategic goals. These matters have required a multidisciplinary approach to address both legal and business considerations effectively. 

How have you integrated technology into your legal processes, and what impact has this had on efficiency and compliance?  

We have integrated a variety of advanced technological tools, including AI-powered solutions, to optimise our legal processes. These tools assist in tasks such as preparing minutes, reviewing and analysing large volumes of documents, managing file systems, consulting legal databases, and authenticating signatures, among others. The adoption of these technologies has significantly improved our operational efficiency. By automating repetitive and time-consuming tasks, we can allocate more resources to complex and strategic legal work. This has allowed us to handle a greater number of cases with improved speed, accuracy, and consistency. 

Additionally, these tools have enhanced our compliance efforts by providing robust mechanisms for data security, tracking regulatory changes, and maintaining accurate records.
