What are the most significant cases or transactions in the Latam region that you or your legal team has recently been involved in?
We are revising the legal and regulatory aspects to migrate our data in several countries to the Cloud. We are also engaged in negotiations with several financial distributors to distribute our products.
What do you predict to be the biggest change to the Latam legal market, over the next few years?
The situation in Latam after the Covid-19 pandemic is complex. It will depend on how populist politicians (from the right and left wings) can build the government of the countries. It is a problematic moment everywhere, but I expect LatAm can be able to move forward despite the situation a reinforce its democracies, economic and labour markets.
What are your organisation’s plans in the Latam region over the next 12 months, and how will your legal expertise help to achieve these plans?
We are betting in Latam and helping with the implementation of projects our company is doing to improve the conditions in the region.
