Group general counsel of the world leading construction and project development firm Skanska, Caroline Fellenius-Omnell first joined the company in 2017 after gaining an impressive array of experience in the electricity and energy sectors. Currently leading a team responsible for legal affairs, ethics and “Green Community” investment, her global and cross-border capabilities are put to use thanks to Skanska’s international presence; it is based in Europe and the US providing construction, residential development, commercial property development, and infrastructure services. Recognised for her multilateral advice and support, Fellenius-Omnell is an important cog in the company’s internal structure, and is relied upon to provide counsel a number of different projects to achieve Skanska’s ambitious business agenda. In the last year, some of Skanska’s most important projects have been in the US, including the renovation of the Farley Post Office and the George Washington Bridge, both in New York. Prior to her current position, Fellenius-Omnell worked as a senior associate at Mannheimer, Swartling, Skadden Arps, and as a general counsel at Tetra Pak, Sidel, Tele 2 and corporate counsel at Electrolux.
