Joining Axfood after a decade of experience at the Ramberg Advocater law firm – where she spent several years as a partner – Sandra Brånstad currently leads the Axfood legal department and applies her talent and leadership by running all of the legal affairs of this industry leading company in the food retail industry. Axfood operates multiple brands of grocery, cafes and other food retail outfits across 500 locations in Sweden, specialising in environmentally sustainably sourced products. It also produces its own brand of food products, under the name Garant, which it sells in its various locations. Brånstad leads the legal team on all matters concerning the business, for example the team has influenced the company’s code of conduct policies which deal with company practices on sustainability, ethical sourcing of ingredients and food supplies, as well as organic certifications and more.
