Through its brands, including Electrolux, AEG and Frigidaire, Electrolux sells more than 60 million household and professional products in more than 150 markets every year. In 2018 Electrolux had sales of SEK124bn and employed 54,000 people around the world. Since 2017, Mikael Östman has headed Electrolux’s legal team as general counsel and senior vice president, having been employed by the company since 2002. The highly capable legal department of Electrolux is formed by a number of in-house counsel who specialise in various areas. In May 2019, with significant contribution from the legal team, Electrolux invested in Mila, a start-up that offers connected air purifiers via a subscription-based model direct to consumers.
