Operating under the brands “Three” or “3”, Hi3G Access is a Swedish mobile telecommunications operator owned by the Hong Kong based CK Hutchison and Swedish firm Investor, serving private and business customers. The business oriented legal team at Three has undergone a few important changes during the last year. Anna Bülow Zetterberg who previously served as general counsel at Novamedia Sverige has taken on the role of head of legal, reporting to the director of the regulatory and legal department, Magnus Forslund. Zetterberg leads a team of eight legal counsel and a paralegal, providing the business with solid advice. The team has been continuously working on how to get closer to the business operation and how to be the best business partner, including getting more commercially and technically minded. In addition, Zetterberg has taken time to collect feedback from relevant business owners who have worked with the legal team and the results show that the business operation truly enjoys and values the legal team’s support. ‘There is a true team spirit within the team and [our] legal counsel (with backgrounds from various large well-known law firms, companies and governmental authorities such as the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority and the Swedish Competition Authority) enjoy sharing their expertise with each other’, says Zetterberg.
