Philippe Hengy’s career at multinational insurance firm, AXA Winterthur, started in 1996 as legal counsel. AXA Winterthur has 165,000 employees with 107 million customers in 64 countries. Working for a company of this magnitude has equipped Hengy to deal with a range of legal financial matters over the years, making him a highly experienced lawyer and treasured asset to the Swiss arm of the company. Due to his proven experience, he has gone on to assume additional roles of responsibility, becoming head of general of legal services in 2004 and then head of general legal services and compliance in 2007. In 2010 he assumed his current position as head of corporate legal services where he advises on matters that encompass intellectual property, legal compliance and corporate governance to name a few.
