Natascia Rubinic has overseen all major transactions of the ABB Group for more than a decade, recently including the transformational divestiture of the power grids business via the creation of a joint venture with Hitachi, Ltd., of Japan. The power grids deal, which represented approximately one third of ABB, was a complicated transaction involving a complex carve-out across more than 70 jurisdictions, including demergers in China and India and a separate listing in India.

Natascia has built up a best-in-class team of M&A lawyers who work seamlessly together with the other M&A professionals in ABB. This business alignment and collaboration is something that Natascia has greatly encouraged. In an effort to simplify the intricate processes of an M&A transaction, her team has developed automated tools and templates to support the M&A efforts of the ABB Group while remaining hands-on in successfully executing deals and accumulating years of transaction experience.
