With 27 attorneys and six legal professionals from more than 15 different nationalities, the Geneva Procter & Gamble (P&G) legal team reflects the richness and diversity of the Europe, India, Middle East and Africa (EIMEA) regional operations that it covers. The team includes regional leadership roles for EIMEA, including regional management of all local legal and government relations teams and operations, global and regional support to Swiss-based business units, with special focus on commercial and product-related legal work including intellectual property. The team also boasts dedicated global and regional “centers of excellence” and covers practice groups such as antitrust, compliance and corporate. The P&G legal team also includes the government relations and public policy group, with three of its members based in Geneva and whose mission is to monitor and leverage legislation and public policy. P&G’s purpose, values and principles are at the foundation of the team’s day-to-day work. All members of the legal team are key partners to the business and use a combination of their legal expertise, business acumen and leadership to protect and grow the business. They are known internally as business enablers and leaders in the company and not just as a back office function. Finding business-oriented and creative solutions is at the very core of the team’s priorities and mission, achieved through internal collaboration and strong external relationships.
