Led by head of legal and compliance Pascal Baumgartner, Valiant Bank offers a range of products and services across retail banking, small and medium sized enterprise banking, private banking and asset management. As the successor of approximately 40 banks of varying sizes and offerings, Valiant has grown from its inception in 1997 a locally-based regional bank to a broad-based Swiss bank. With its expansion the legal team has had to support a number of diverse number products, growing its expertise along with the bank’s needs. The team now assists with the regulatory work associated with a wide range of loans and leases, variable and fixed-rate mortgages, savings accounts, medium-term notes, pension fund management, current and business accounts, travel cash, payment services and e-banking services.
