The legal team has supported the company’s international expansion with over 38,000 personnel in over 2,700 branches spread across five regions. The legal team take part in the company’s regular board and committee meetings, being an integral part of the continued success of the business. Legal is currently represented on the audit committee, remuneration committee, nominations committee and major announcements committee, where they play a key part in facilitating implementation of decisions. With an impending change in CEO and CFO, the legal team will be an important unit in maintaining the company’s consistency.
