Group general counsel Christoph Hiestand has led the Julius Bär Group legal team for nearly 10 years. The legal team has recently overseen Singapore’s purchase of a stake in Julius Bär Group through sovereign wealth fund GIC, a move that is predicted to appeal to their Asian clientele. In 2015 and 2016, team members worked on completing the acquisitions of Leumi Private Bank and Fransad Gestion in Switzerland.
